11th Edition of IICE will be a great moment for all of us, scheduled to take place in Kolkata, India. Kolkata is the gateway of Eastern India that holds a large number of ice cream brands in the country. Yet another year of growth is expected this season in 2023. Members of IICMA are becoming more and more innovative in increasing their sales, parlour business is a hit for almost all of us across the country. Bigger brands have already reached deeper in rural areas of India to increase their sales with the help of latest technologies.

11th edition of IICE will bring all of us to Eastern India which is a growing region for ice cream consumption throughout year. Eastern India is not only climatically most suitable for ice cream consumption but availability of raw materials such as milk, sugar and other ingredients is also well organized. We have a large number of ice cream manufacturers from this region. In cities like Patna, Jamshedpur, Ranchi, Howrah, Bhubaneswar, Dhanbad, Siliguri, Gaya, Durgapur, Cuttack, Puri, Bhagalpur, Begusarai, Darbhanga, Hazaribagh, Kishanganj, Kharagpur have national and regional brands of ice creams doing business successfully, along with these brands, there are numerous other brands manufacturing ice creams since ages only in their cities of origin. Ice cream flavours keep changing according to the seasonal demand but not the growing culture of ice-cream consumption. This makes Eastern India one largest hub of ice creams in the country.

This time once again, I am expecting huge crowd of visitors from all over the country especially from the Eastern states, like Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Odisha have always made this event a great success.
